REVENUE RISE
Revenue Rise is The NBS Group’s proprietary income optimization program designed to help financial institutions increase noninterest and interest income through disciplined, market-driven analysis. Using competitive intelligence, mystery shopping, and deep product evaluation, Revenue Rise identifies clear, actionable opportunities to improve pricing, fees, and product structures across the balance sheet, without sacrificing competitiveness or customer trust.
Income Optimization through Competitive Intelligence

ASSETS
The program analyzes more than 100 revenue areas across four asset categories, including credit cards, consumer loans, mortgage loans, and commercial loans. Reviews assess rates, fees, rewards, pricing structures, and key product features across portfolio and market offerings. Consumer lending analysis includes home equity, HELOCs, and secured and unsecured products, while commercial loan reviews focus on pricing, margins, and relationship discounts. Each asset category is evaluated through a competitive and profitability lens to identify targeted revenue optimization opportunities.

LIABILITIES
Revenue Rise reviews more than 150 deposit-related revenue areas across consumer and business products. This includes consumer and business checking accounts, savings accounts, money market accounts, certificates of deposit, and IRAs. The analysis evaluates balance requirements, monthly service charges, per-item fees, and product features to identify opportunities to improve profitability while remaining competitive and aligned with customer expectations.

ANCILLARY SERVICES
Ancillary services often represent overlooked revenue potential. Revenue Rise evaluates more than 150 ancillary service areas, including cash and treasury management services, deposit service charges, courtesy overdraft programs, ATM and electronic banking services, safe deposit boxes, and other miscellaneous fees. These services are assessed based on pricing, utilization, and market positioning to identify opportunities for incremental revenue improvement.
OUR PROVEN METHODOLOGY
Revenue Rise follows a structured, phased methodology designed to deliver clarity, confidence, and measurable results. The engagement begins with a pre-diagnostic and diagnostic review over the first 75 to 120 days, during which product and pricing data is analyzed, competitors are evaluated through mystery shopping, and detailed findings are developed in collaboration with management.
Recommendations are then presented to leadership over the following 30 to 60 days to support informed decision-making and refinement.
Once approved, implementation and execution typically occur over 90 to 120 days, supported by clear rollout plans, sample disclosures, and hands-on guidance. Ongoing reporting and tracking continue for three to twelve months to monitor performance, validate outcomes, and ensure benefits are fully realized and annualized.
Fee Structure
Revenue Rise is structured to align fees with results. Professional fees are based on a percentage of the first year’s annualized benefit and are paid in two installments. Fifty percent is due upon approval of recommendations, and the remaining fifty percent is due upon completion of the monitoring period. Actual and related travel expenses, including mystery shopping, are billed separately.

WHY REVENUE RISE
Revenue optimization is not about knowing where you rank. It is about knowing exactly what to change, how to change it, and what the financial impact will be. Revenue Rise by The NBS Group goes beyond traditional competitive benchmarking to deliver predictive, outcome-driven intelligence that translates directly into measurable revenue growth.

Competitive Intelligence Plus Customer Intelligence
Revenue optimization requires more than pricing comparisons. Revenue Rise integrates competitive intelligence with customer and relationship insights to ensure pricing strategies protect both profitability and loyalty.
Our analysis considers how customers use products, how relationships influence pricing decisions, and where revenue opportunities can be captured without creating friction or attrition. This broader lens allows institutions to strengthen margins while maintaining market relevance and trust.

Revenue Proof, Not Estimates
Revenue Rise is grounded in measurable financial results, not theoretical ranges. Our recommendations are informed by real implementation outcomes across institutions of varying asset sizes, product mixes, and market conditions.
This enables leadership teams to see projected income improvements across both interest and noninterest revenue channels, with clear expectations for timing, scale, and sustainability. The result is a revenue strategy supported by evidence, not assumptions.

From Competitive Insight to Financial Outcomes
Many competitive intelligence programs focus on peer comparisons and market observations. Revenue Rise is built to answer a more important question: what happens next.
Our approach combines competitive intelligence with predictive modeling and real-world implementation data to show leadership teams the financial impact of each recommendation before decisions are made. This allows institutions to prioritize changes with confidence, understand risk and return tradeoffs, and align strategy with financial goals. Revenue Rise does not simply identify opportunities. It quantifies outcomes.

Built for Execution, Not Just Analysis
Insight alone does not create revenue. Execution does. Revenue Rise includes hands-on implementation support designed to minimize internal disruption while accelerating results. We provide detailed implementation plans, sample customer disclosures, and ongoing guidance to support product, marketing, operations, and compliance teams through rollout.
This approach ensures recommendations move from analysis to action, without overburdening internal staff or delaying results.
